Configuration in TYPO3

1. Information on the payment in TYPO3

You can find all completed payments in the TYPO3 administration under ePay. Click on the transaction ID (TID) to view more information about the payment.

2. Settings


Merchant number

Enter the merchant number you received from ePay. Find it via the menu Settings -> Payment system in your ePay administration.

Use API

Enable this to process your payments from TYPO3. You can capture, delete, and credit payments from the order view in TYPO3.

Group

You can divide payments into different groups and limit your ePay users’ access to specific groups. A group is a name/string. If you don’t want to use groups, simply leave the field empty (default).

Show E-mail

Put at Show to display an email field on the payment page.

Show Name

Put at Show to display a name field on the payment page.

Show Address

Put at Show to display an address field on the payment page.

Show Country

Put at Show to display a country field on the payment page.

Show Phone

Put at Show to display a phone field on the payment page.

Show Comment

Put at Show to display a comment field on the payment page.

URL containing terms

Enter the URL which contains your terms and conditions.

Require accept terms

Put at Yes if the customer must accept your terms to complete the payment.

Available currencies

Define which currencies you accept.

Available payment methods

Define which logos to display at checkout.

Company name

Enter your company name.

Company e-mail

Enter the email address from which the payment confirmation is sent.

E-mail payment confirmation

Enter the recipient email address(es) of the payment confirmation.

Customer pays the payment fee

Enable this to place the transaction fee on the customer. An extra step is added to the payment process, and the customer is informed about the size of the fee and asked to confirm it.

Instant capture

Enable this to capture the payment as soon as it is authorised. Please note that you can only use this setting if the customers receive their goods immediately, e.g. downloads or services. 

MD5 key

If you’ve enabled MD5 in ePay, enter your secret key here (the same key you entered in your ePay administration in Settings -> Payment system). The keys must be identical in the two systems.  

Auth E-mail

Enter an email address here to receive an email when a payment is completed. If you have more recipients, separate the addresses with a semicolon (;). Leave the field empty if you don’t want to use this service.

Split payment

Enable this to process all payments as split payments. This means that you can divide a payment into two or more transactions and capture smaller parts of the amount one at a time, e.g. if you split the delivery into several shipments. Read more about split payments here.

3. Language

If you want to change or add a language in ePay’s module, please use the xml files found here:

typo3conf/ext/epay/mod1/locallang_mod.xml
typo3conf/ext/epay/pi1/locallang.xml

4. Process payments from TYPO3

Using ePay’s module, you can process payments from TYPO3. This means you don’t have to log in to your ePay administration to capture, credit or delete payments.

Enable the setting “Use API” to process payments from TYPO3.

The IP address on which the TYPO3 system is installed must be registered in the ePay administration under API/Webservices -> Access.

When viewing an order in the TYPO3 administration, you can find the following information:

  • Transaction status
  • Acquirer
  • Currency code
  • Split payment (if used)
  • Description (if any)
  • Cardholder’s name (if used)
  • Authorised amount and timestamp
  • Captured amount and timestamp
  • Credited amount and timestamp

To capture a payment, find the order, enter the amount you want to capture, and press ‘Capture’.

To cancel an order and delete the payment, find the order and press ‘Delete’. The transaction will be deleted in the ePay administration.

To credit a payment, enter the amount you want to credit, and press ‘Credit’.

5. Change mail-template

If you want to change the layout of the confirmation email, please edit the file:
typo3conf/ext/epaymail-template.php

The following strings will be replaced:

[tid] is replaced with the transaction ID
[cardnopostfix] is replaced with the card number postfix
[orderid] is replaced with the invoice number
[cur] is replaced with the currency
[transfee] is replaced with the transaction fee (if any)
[company] is replaced with the company name
[date] is replaced with the date
[time] is replaced with the time
[cemail] is replaced with the customer’s email
[cname] is replaced with the customer’s name
[caddress] is replaced with the customer’s address
[ccountry] is replaced with the customer’s country
[cphone] is replaced with the customer’s phone number
[ccomment] is replaced with the customer’s comment
